Owner & Lead Therapist

I created Maui’s Best Massage with two kinds of people in mind: visitors to Maui who want a massage, but aren’t exactly sure who to trust or turn to, and professional massage therapists who are passionate about their craft and wish to be of service. Thus, this company serves as a bridge between the two. I have been a massage therapist for 8 years and received my initial massage training in Chicago, Illinois. I went on to further my training at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California, and learned Lomi Lomi on the Big Island of Hawaii.

It’s my honor working with many great massage therapists at Maui’s Best Massage. Growing up in Taiwan with Chinese natural healing remedies: Tui Na Massage, Acupressure, Reflexology, Herbal Healing, Tai Chi Qi Gong, Martial Arts, Meditation & Yoga. Now blessed living in Maui for nearly 15 years, I’m constantly refining massage modalities with Deep Tissue, Sports, Thai, Shiatsu, lymphatic Drainage, Lomi Lomi, Reiki, Hot Stones, Polarityk Swedish, Geriatric, Oversize Body, Prenatal, Facial, Jinshin Jytsu, Aroma Touch, Medical Massage, and more. Massage to me is the most natural and direct healing for the body with no end of learning and sharing. I’m blessed to be part of Maui’s Best Massage.

Aloha, I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2010. Starting out at a Chiropractic Clinic, I learned many techniques for Orthopedic Conditions. I then branched out to the relaxation side of massage when I started working at spas in Cannon Beach, Seaside, and later in Portland, Oregon. Now living on Maui, I am very excited to share my comforting and healing touch. I love giving Deep Tissue, Swedish, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone, Lymphatic Drainage, Lomi Lomi, Reflexology, Cranial Sacral, Chakra Balancing and Prenatal Massage. I am continually learning more and more techniques to bring to the massage table.

Christina always had interest in the body and its function. Since age 2 she extensively studied dance in which she discovered body movement and awareness. Later she became a certified personal trainer enhancing her knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology and the body systems. In 2014, she graduated from the Maui Academy of the Healing Arts. She is trained in several modalities and focuses on Lomi Lomi, Swedish and Sports/Deep Tissue. Christina has created a unique style integrating massage techniques and her previous experience to intuitively address each clients needs while inducing restoration and relaxation.

My name is Jessica. Since I don’t talk a lot during my massages, here is a little something about me…

I am a Hawaii state licensed therapist since 2001.Graduated from Oahu’s former H.C.H.S (Hawaii’s College of Health and Science), ran by Dr. Randall James, DO (Osteopathic Doctor) and Ray DeLacruz, DAC (Oahu’s well known acupuncturist).

My favorite massage is a blend of Swedish, shiatsu, lomi-lomi, and OF COURSE what the client wants. I love life, people and massage. I don’t consider massage “work”, more of a hobby that I really enjoy.

My love for massage started by receiving massages on Oahu from my mentor Rick Crespin. He had been licensed for 20 years at that time. He taught me about muscle origins, insertions (where muscles start and end), how to relax, and that love comes in many forms. Before I started school, he showed me a routine and told me that any technique that was taught by hand can be applied with your elbows and feet as well (for deep tissue since I’m only 5’3”).

Being an athlete, surfing, playing basketball, softball, volleyball and semi-pro soccer, I have been through a lot of injuries. I think receiving a lot of massages helped me understand what it feels like, both on and off the table.

My massage career started on Oahu with the PGA tour (pro golf association), Dr.James’ clinic, the Hyatt and Outrigger hotels. I also got to work on Oahu’s Pro-bowlers (all star game of the N.F.L national
football league. (I would not recommend that for any therapist, definately charged by the pound lol) These life styles and events have contributed to the therapist I am today.
